PROCASTINATION THESIS

I just came across a friend's friendster account and it got me wondering. Is procastination really that bad? Are procastinators really menaces to the routine-driven life? What if procastination really played a vital role in our lives? What if it was put there to give us a minor delay to avoid a catastrophy that was supposed to happen? What if it was put there to deviate our lives from ritualistic routines? Wat would life be without procastination? Think about it.

A personal account on the advantages of procastinaton:

Sometime this year, I was supposed to go to the bank to widthraw my monthly allowance, it wasn't much, but it was all i had. A friend of mine was supposed to come along, and we were supposed to be there at around 8:30 to avoid the rush and be able to finish my transaction without going through a line. To my dismay it was already 10:00 am when my friend woke up. I just lost the interest of getting money and decided to postpone everyting for tomorrow.

The next day, I went to the bank. Guess what. There was a robbery the day before at around 8:30. Wat could have happened if we were present at that moment? I could have lost my monthly allowance, worse, my life. Thanks to procastination, everything turned out fine.
